Delzani Fly Bonnet Masks offer excellent protection from the harsh sun and biting insects.
Constructed from a heavy-duty, raised weave, soft mesh, the masks are gentle on the coat and offer high airflow. They also dry out very quickly if worn during rain.
Our nose flaps offer sun protection and are shaped to ensure the best coverage while not interfering with your horse's nostrils. The eye covers are made from stiff ballistic mesh and allow good visibility.
Enclosed ears are offered, but they can be cut out leaving a very neat and fully bound ear hole if you prefer to have open ears.
The hoods are kept in place with an adjustable pole strap and a 3 way-locking Velcro chin closure.

Our Full-size bonnets are generally not suited for horses 17hh and over or for builds that have very large heads like Clydesdales etc.
*Horses are unpredictable animals and there is always a risk of a horse dislodging a fly mask from scratching, snagging, or other mischief and then panicking if their vision is affected. When using fly masks and bonnets on horses you need to consider the horse’s temperament, location to other horses, environment, and overall suitability for wearing hoods. We recommend only using fly masks in safe environments where the horse can be regularly supervised at all times.

Delzani Fly Mask Horse Bonnet
By: Miranda Coulson on 4 September 2024My horse had a growth on his 3rd eyelid successfully removed. I needed a very sturdy fly mask with stiff mesh over the eyes. This fly mask is the perfect solution. My other horse objects to the nose piece so I have to fold up the nose flap for him. He would benefit from a removable nose piece. But I still love this product! The best mask I have ever bought.
